***COVID-19 PROTOCOL UPDATES*** 

 

As we near the upcoming Riverfront Jazz Festival, and as we deal with COVID concerns, please know that we are doing everything possible to address numerous safety matters to protect festival patrons, attendees, performing artists, vendors, etc. We understand that each individual has the right to determine his/her own health destiny. But for the safety of everyone, please see listed below safety measures we will have in place through the duration of the festival. It is our desire to provide the best musical and festival experience possible! Unless federal, state or municipal governments mandate a complete closure, our plans are to proceed with the festival and thus there will be no refunds.

 

SAFTEY MEASURES

• Mandatory temperature checks at venue entrance;

• Mandatory mask wearing backstage, in all venues;

• Mandatory mask wearing for all festival attendees and vendors;

• COVID Testing available at all main entrances;

• All in-door areas (including backstage and dressing rooms) will be professionally sanitized daily;

• COVID vaccine shots available on-site at festival, in partnership with hospital Community Outreach program, Saturday, Sept. 4th 1pm-5pm AND Sunday, Sept. 5th 1pm - 5pm. Parkland Health & Hospital System will provide the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

***Individuals from out of town who choose to get vaccinated at the festival can connect with a vaccine provider in their hometown for their 2nd dose. You will have a vaccination card with the record of your 1st dose and will be told when you need to get your 2nd dose. All you need to do is check your home location around the time period you are scheduled for your 2nd shot.
