Welcome 2026 Jazz Festival Vendors!

Thank you for your interest in The Black Academy of Arts and Letters' 9th Annual Riverfront Jazz Festival. The three-day festival takes place September 4-6, 2026 at Dallas' historic Fair Park, 3800 Parry Ave, Dallas, TX 75226.

This vendor application is for commercial, non-commercial, and non-profit *vendors. Acceptance of vendor applications and payments will close sooner, if available space is expended before the July 17, 2026 deadline. Merchandise vendors must provide a certificate of insurance when vendor application is submitted. Please ensure that the CERTIFICATE HOLDER is: The Black Academy of Arts and Letters 2026 Riverfront Jazz Festival, 3800 Parry Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75266-1752.

Also note, Food vendors must secure a Temporary Special Event Food Permit, issued by the City of Dallas' Code Compliance Department. A letter of invitation will be sent to food vendors after approval of festival application. It is our goal to have an assortment of vendors at the Festival, rather than multiple vendors with an abundance of the same food(s).

 

Mobile food vendors may use their current Mobile Food Service Permit but be prepared to show your LPG (Liquid, Propane & Gas) permit if propane is used.  Vendors will not be allowed on property if required permits are not presented. 

 

Additionally, vendors must provide a copy of Comprehensive General Liability Insurance as detailed inside the application.

*Lastly, please be aware that we have received reports of Riverfront Jazz Festival IMPERSONATORS who have contacted vendors and offered to collect vendor payments following application approval. We email vendors after the required documents are received, not before. 

 

Please DO NOT send vendor payments to any entity EXCEPT The Black Academy of Arts and Letters for the Riverfront Jazz Festival. At the time of your vendor payment, we will speak directly with you via phone and will send you a legal purchase receipt following the payment transaction. The Black Academy of Arts and Letters is the ONLY legally authorized entity to approve Riverfront Jazz Festival vendor applications, and receive vendor payments. ​​​

IF ADDITIONAL LETTERS ARE LISTED AFTER ".ORG" or if any other email address is given, it is likely a SCAM - do not reply, do not click links.
